My clients have a three bedroom short-term rental property in Nashville that they needed help redecorating. This is the small second bathroom.
There was nothing to it. Just blah. In a short-term rental, you need the space uncluttered, with items that can easily be cleaned, and that can withstand wear. But that doesn’t mean it has to be boring or you have to spend a lot of money. With a little creativity, the space can have a little panache.
I added an amber bottle for the hand soap and a small vase with flowers. On the walls, I put a Ted-X Nashville poster and a Tennessee print I designed (can be found on Etsy here). A gold shelf with some colorful trinkets finished the look. It’s amazing how color, patterns, and prints add vitality to the space. The gold frames and shelves add a little sparkle to the room classing it up a bit. As you can see, it doesn’t take much to just liven up a space and make it look inviting.
