When I bought an iPhone, I was overwhelmed by all the iPhone case options. I wanted about ten different kinds of cases to change out as my mood changed. However—since I’m not rich—that’s really not practical. I had a hard time deciding, but settled on a beautiful wood case. But when the case promptly broke, I decided to realize my desire for options by buying a clear plastic iPhone 4 case. Adding an insert to a clear case, gave me tons of possibilities. Once the case came in the mail, I went about making artwork options on the computer that I have been rotating out over the past several months.
DIY iPhone Inserts
Today, I decided it was time for some new summer options. I love how my new inserts turned out—the trendy colors with the retro/modern chevron pattern! These are so fun, I had to share! Simply download, print out, cut out, and slip into your clear case. You can download a hi res pdf of the inserts for an iPhone 4 here. You’ll notice in these pictures that there is a little difference between the hard case and the soft case. The soft case fits more snugly and feels a little more protective. However, I have dropped my iPhone a couple times with the hard case on it and it survived the falls just fine.
iPhone 4 & 5 Wallpapers
If you do not wish to purchase a clear case, but like the patterns I created—I have turned two of them into wallpapers for iPhone 4 & 5, respectively.
