2012-06-12 14.08.51 2My very special friend, 6 year old, Bella, and I created these super fun toilet paper monsters, inspired by Alisa Burke’s blog. Save some toilet paper rolls, tap into your inner child, and have fun crafting!

MonsterSuppliesThe supplies are easy for this project, and if you’re like me, you’ll probably already have most of them on-hand.

  1. toilet paper rolls
  2. flexible straws (optional)
  3. acrylic paint
  4. paint brushes
  5. newspaper to cover surface
  6. water and paper towels for cleaning brushes and self
  7. scotch tape for attaching straws (optional)
  8. apron to protect clothes from paint (optional)

Go to Alisa’s blog for a full tutorial and more monster ideas.

How have you upcycled toilet paper or paper towel rolls?
